Apple fans and analysts alike let out a collective sigh this morning when they realised there was to be no iPhone 5 announced by Tim Cook.
As Ovum’s Jan Dawson points out, the release of the iPhone 4S was always destined to disappoint, simply because of the vast number of false rumours about the device's capabilities, form factor and features which circulated months ahead of the announcement.
