Digislide lists on ASX

Digislide Holdings Ltd listed on the Australia Securities Exchange on Thursday August 20, 2009 and 28,329,608 shares issued at $1.25 each will be quoted from 11.30am Eastern Standard Time on Monday August 24.

Digislide is an Australian technology company whose projection technology provides innovative merged solutions to video projection and telecom hardware. It has a range of patented products that have been created to enhance consumers' experience in using mobile telecom and/or hand held electronic devices with display screens. The global market for products in which Digislide expects its projection technologies to be either embedded in or complementary to is estimated at over $US350 billion ($A424 billion).

The company's key objective is to design, develop and licence projection technologies to manufacturers and other OEMs throughout the Asian region.

Many of these companies have already expressed a non-binding interest to work with Digislide, incorporating the company's patented miniature projection technology into their products such as mobile/smartphones, laptops, PDAs and hand held GPS devices.

The company has won several international awards including being designated one of the "50 Captains of Innovation" for the Always On Awards, Silicon Valley, USA in Hong Kong, a finalist in the Hong Kong Australia business awards in 2007 as well as earlier awards.

Funds raised will be used to commercialise Digivision, StingRay, Digishow and finalise R&D for embedded Digismart Miniature Projection Technologies Digislide inside laptops and other hand held displays. Major option holders include Martin Place Securities with 3.5 million options and International Equities with 2.5 million options with a total of 6.45 million issued options.

Unsecured convertible notes that pay 20% pa are held by John Leonard Outhred and Luceille Annette Outhred in two tranches worth $65,000 together, converting into 52,000 share, by International Equities, $750,000 at 15% interest over 15 months converting into 600,000 shares with $160,000 worth of CNs held by Martin Place and $40,000 worth of CNs held by WHI Securities Pty Ltd, both issues at 15% pa. with an 8 month duration.

The board proposes to issue 1 for 8 loyalty options 3-6 months after listing.

Directors: Ian Mutton, non-executive chairman, is a lawyer with a background in competition and product liability laws. He spent 15 years with CSR Ltd devising and implementing product liability defence and asset protection strategies in Australia, NZ and the US.

Luceille Outhred, director and CEO, has extensive start up and business development experience having spent 13 years as Corporate Leader of the Workright Group, involved in education, technology incubation and entrepreneurship. She was initially seconded to Digislide International Pty Ltd, a predecessor of Digislide, in 1998 to assist in the embryonic stages of the commercialisation of the company's core technologies.

Ms Outhred is a designated inventor of Digislide's Digismart Swap, Digismart and Digivision patents.

Lin Chan, non-executive director, has over 25 years of corporate finance experience. She has headed a consulting practice since 2001 and her clients include Aperto Networks, Pacific Investors and Optiva Inc. She was CFO and EVP for Crystal Technology Inc, a spin off from Siemens AG, the world's largest producer of lithium niobate crystals for the multimedia industry. She is based in Silicon Valley in the US.

Leon Milford, non-executive director, was previously Victorian secretary and accountant for Hills Industries Ltd.

Malcolm Leahy, non-executive director, has experience is in engineering. He has significant manufacturing experience and brings engineering insights to Digislide at board level.

John English, company secretary, was previously secretary/manager of Her Majesty's Customs Staff Credit Union and also secretary/manager of Comtax Credit Union.

Hean Siew, company secretary, has had 24 years experience in the financial industry. He has been admitted as a solicitor to the NSW Supreme Court.

Christian Outhred, non-executive director, is Chairman of the board of the Workright Group and Vice President of the board of the company's US wholly owned subsidiary Digislide Americas Ltd.

Executive management team: Bruce Newell is chief technical officer and business development manager (The Americas). He joined Digislide's executive management team in May 2007. He was most recently GM of Kodak's Immersive Imaging Business (a High Fidelity Stereoscopic 3D Display Technology). He is based in the US.

Kevin Soper, chief innovator, is a founder of Digislide and has involvement in the innovation behind each of the company's patents. He is a designated inventor of all but one of Digislide's patents. He holds over 40 patents to his credit.

Mark Gafner, chief strategy officer, has extensive experience of electronic engineering. He founded the electronics and software engineering company ANSYS in South Africa in 1987 and was managing director of the company until leaving South Africa for Australia early in 2003.

Joseph Tan, business development manager, is based in Singapore and is responsible for Digislide's expansion within the Greater Asia region. His key areas of expertise are in supply and logistics, marketing for new accounts and the reinvention of work processes to create value chains and cost savings for clients. He was previously assistant marketing manager for the Asia Pacific Region for Sony Electronics.
