MIS not a long-term business model: aquaculture managers

Andrew Hewitt, the CEO of Arafura Pearls, says the managed investment scheme business model should not be treated as a long-term funding arrangement. It should be used instead as a short-term funding solution. Arafura Pearls uses it this way. Hewitt is concerned about the negative impact of the collapse of Great Southern and Timbercorp on his business. Andrew Ferguson, the CEO of Australian Bight Abalone, shares Hewitt's concerns
