Economic Recovery News and Commentary
The Australian economic recovery has been one of the strongest and most widely publicised against many other major global economies.
While the economic downturn caused by the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) is still being experienced by many nations, Australia was one of the first to see a sustained and positive economic recovery.
The Australian recovery was due to the Governments’ Economic Stimulus package, strong base metal and industrials economy and a strong and highly regulated banking sector.
